Yes! The Florida Marriage License by mail (in Absentia) is a legal document and the same as if you would apply in person. The filing process can only be done through a company like us or you would have to apply in person at the local Clerk of Court.

Why file for a Florida Marriage License by mail?
To get legally married in Florida all couples will have to provide a valid Marriage License to their officiant. There are two options on how two obtain one. The first option is that you apply for your Florida marriage license in person. You can do that at any local Clerk of Court in the State of Florida. How does it work, and what do I need?

What you will need:
- You will have to provide us with your personal information on the application.
- You need a working Email and the option to read and print out a pdf document.
- Couples have to get their signatures notarized and for that, you have to have a valid Governmental ID like a passport, driver’s license military ID, etc.
- After notarization, you must mail the original document back to us for the final filing stage.
The license will be dated and issued by the Clerk of Court and we will send the finished marriage license to you. The Florida marriage license is ready to be used and will expire after 60 days.

How do I receive the marriage license?
