What does it cost to file for my marriage license?
We have several packages available for filing for the Florida Marriage License by mail.
If you have specific needs or questions, or wish to pay with Zelle or Money Order, please contact us before submitting your application. All customers must have a valid email address to apply for a marriage license by mail. If you are an international couple, we have two different packages available. One with Apostille service and one without. International couples that can provide a US shipping address for the finished license may also choose any other package.
Applicant’s responsibility – a few things you have to do
Applicants must read instructions carefully. All applicants will receive the instructions along with the pre-license and pre marital statement to be notarized via Email. It is the applicant’s responsibility to check all personal information on the license. Please contact us immediately if anything has to be corrected on the document. It is the applicant’s responsibility to get the documents notarized and mailed back to us in a timely matter. We highly recommend to send us all notarized documents via a carrier like Fed Ex or UPS. We also recommend having an extra copy notarized in case a document gets lost in the mail. Photocopies or pictures of the notarized document are not accepted.
You must mail us back the original notarized license for issuing. The finished license will be sent to you via UPS ground or other shipment options if express shipping is necessary . It is important that we have the correct mailing address on file. Events and More Inc can not be responsible for adverse conditions brought on by the shipping carrier. Which may include missing, lost, or late arriving documents. Additional fees that may arise due to shipping delays or lost documents are the applicant’s responsibility. Any corrections on the license after the wedding took place will incur additional revision and service fees.
Additional Shipping Information
Events and More Inc. ship all documents to the Clerk of Court or hand-deliver your documents. Regardless of what package you choose. Fed Ex /UPS shipments go out once a week unless express filing is necessary or paid for in advance.
One way shipments included in the packages are pertaining to the finished license and how it will be mailed to you. All certified copy’s after the wedding will be mailed to you via USPS. Customers that also want the Certificate shipped via Fed Ex/UPS please contact us. All applicants have to provide a physical address since a carrier cannot ship to a PO Box.

Florida Marriage License by Mail/ Super Saver 60 days or more
$190.00 incl. shipping. (This package is only available for applications with 60 days or more before the wedding date)
Application including all filing fees and one-way shipment via UPS ground Applicants receive 1 certified copy of the marriage certificate after the marriage has been recorded. USPS Shipment of your marriage certificate. This package is only available for applications with 60 days or more prior to the wedding date.
Florida Marriage License by Mail /31 – 59 days
$220.00 incl. shipping. (This package is only available for applications with 30 – 59 days prior to the wedding date)
Application including all filing fees and one-way shipment via Fed Ex/UPS (non-express – ground). Applicants receive 1 certified copy of the marriage certificate after the marriage has been recorded. USPS Shipment of your marriage certificate.
Florida Marriage License Express– 30 days or less
$245.00 incl. shipping. All marriage license applications less than 30 days prior the wedding date must express file. For applications with less than 10 working days before the wedding date please contact us first.
Application including all filing fees and one-way shipment via UPS Ground. For Express Overnight shipments outside of Florida additional shipping costs will apply. To add overnight shipping please contact us. Applicants receive 1 certified copy of the marriage certificate after the marriage has been recorded. The certified copy will be mailed to you with USPS. We can take applications up to 10 working days prior to the wedding date, not including holidays and weekends if the finished license will be mailed within Florida. For weddings less than 10 working days please contact us. We may be able to still assist you.
Florida Marriage License by Mail International Shipment
$425.00 incl. shipping. (This package is only available for applications with 45 or more days before the wedding date)
Application including all filing fees and one-way shipment via Fed Ex/UPS/DHL International. Applicants receive 1 certified copy of the marriage certificate after the marriage has been recorded. Includes USPS shipment of the marriage certificate after recording. Applicants with a US shipping address where we can mail the finished license may also choose any of the other packages. In some rare cases, shipping costs for International addresses have to be adjusted.
Additional Certified Copies.
$5.00 per additional certified copy if ordered in combination with one of our marriage license by mail packages.
Additional certified copies of your marriage certificate will be mailed via USPS along with the already complimentary copy included in your package.

This package is only available for applications with 45 -59 days prior to the wedding date
